Most Common Reasons a Bosch Microwave Turntable Is Not Turning

  • Food debris, an object, or oversized cookware blocks movement: Bosch US identifies food debris and objects as the first turntable check. When the microwave is cool and off, the glass tray and roller path should be clear. Safe Turntable Check

1) Switch the microwave off, disconnect power if accessible, and wait for the cavity and tray to cool.

3) Clean the tray, ring, and cavity bottom without scraping the coating.

4) Inspect for cracks, distortion, or missing rollers.

5) Reinstall the roller rest and tray so both are centered and level.

When to Stop Using the Microwave

What Diagnosis Must Confirm

After the visible assembly is proved clean, intact, and correctly seated, diagnosis verifies whether the control commands rotation, whether power reaches the motor under the correct cycle, whether the drive transfers motion, and whether the command or mechanical path fails.
